National Portrait Gallery features a major new exhibition of the extravagant world of the glamorous and stylish “British Young Things” by the renowned British photographer, Cecil Beaton.
Spanning the twenties and thirties, his work brings to life an eccentric and creative era of British cultural life, featuring many of Beaton’s friends, such as Anna May Wong and Stephen Tennant.
The exhibition displays the artist’s transformation from a middle-class suburban student to the glitter of the high society.
